Questions about pricing
Who counts as an active user?
Anyone whose AI, Claude Code or OpenAI Codex, works with your data in Koalake that month. On Standard, that includes anyone who opens a data app. Admins who only set roles are free.
What about AI agents and scheduled jobs?
An agent that works for one person counts as that person. A shared agent that answers several colleagues counts each person it answers. Pipelines and scheduled jobs with no person behind them are free, within fair use.
Do we need to buy an AI plan?
Not if your people already have one. Claude Code comes with every paid Claude plan, and OpenAI Codex with every ChatGPT plan. Your AI runs under that plan, so there is no separate AI bill from Koalake.
What does connecting our data cost?
Nothing on the data platforms we support: our team sets up the connection. On another platform, or with your data still in separate systems, AI Data Foundation Pro connects them, set up for a fixed price agreed before we start.
How does the free month work?
It starts once your own data is connected, so your people use Koalake on real work before you pay. After that month, your subscription starts.
Is there a limit on data?
Standard includes 1 TB of data. If you need more, we agree a price per TB with you before it applies.
How are we invoiced?
Monthly, after each month: Standard for the active users that month, Dedicated for its tier. On Dedicated we can also invoice yearly.
